On the bike I nod most of the time or even wave on occasion when I am feeling daring. ;-)Even been tempted to do it when driving but only to other bikers, lol.

The wave / nod is an acknowledgement of the brotherhood. A brotherhood that says I don't care what you ride....just that you are riding. Keep the shiny side up and be safe out there.

Where I grew up everyone waved in cars, or tractors or just passing by in general. It's a small town thing, but when I started riding it just came naturally. To me, it never felt like a special biker...
